GLUT'TONOUS, adjective Given to excessive eating; indulging the appetite for food to excess; as a gluttonous age.
1. Consisting in excessive eating; as gluttonous delight.
First occurrence in the Bible(KJV): Matthew 11:19 The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children.
