SERV'ITOR, noun [From Latin servio, to serve.]
1. A servant; an attendant.
2. One that acts under another; a follower or adherent.
3. One that professes duty and obedience.
4. In the university of Oxford, a student who attends on another for his maintenance and learning; such as is called in Cambridge, a sizer.
First occurrence in the Bible(KJV): 2 Kings 4:43 And his servitor said, What, should I set this before an hundred men? He said again, Give the people, that they may eat: for thus saith the LORD, They shall eat, and shall leave thereof.
